Britain's media regulator Ofcom said SpaceXAI, formerly xAI, added further restrictions to Grok for users in the UK following discussions with the regulator. UK users are now blocked from viewing, generating or sharing pornographic content through Grok's image-generation tools, and companion chatbots such as Ani can no longer have sexually explicit conversations with UK users. Ofcom said it will keep monitoring the changes and keep engaging with SpaceXAI. The update came in the same Ofcom statement on how X handles illegal hate and terror content.

How you’d use it: UK parents can expect Grok's image tools to block explicit content.
